ABOUT
Costa Rica Sims Model Academy is a sophisticated and professional academy with a mission to develop each student a successful modeling career by providing the proper skills, resources and knowledge needed to enter the competitive world of Second Life® fashion.

CURRICULUM & SCHEDULE
Costa Rica Sims Model Academy offers a comprehensive, six-week program with intuitive courses that are designed to accelerate the learning process with the guidance of a professional team of experts, who will work together to ensure that each student receives a well-rounded, thorough, and meaningful education. Our program is designed over a six-week period, and offers one course each week, at the same time. Each program session will have an intimate class size of a maximum of ten students for an optimum learning environment. Each course will have a duration between one to three hours. The language of instruction for all courses is English.
All students who successfully pass Course VI: The Graduation will be invited to participate in the Graduate Fashion Show. This will be a promoted, public event to help launch each of the graduates modeling career with a fashion show, in the company of fellow models, fashion industry professionals, and the Costa Rica Sims community.

REGISTRATION
In order to register at Costa Rica Sims Model Academy, please complete an application on our website.
After submitting a completed application, you will be notified in-world within 48 hours by Florentine Rau, Director of Costa Rica Sims Model Academy, to schedule an interview to complete your registration.
The cost of tuition for Costa Rica Sims Model Academy is L$8,000. The full tuition payment must be paid during the scheduled registration interview. You will receive a group invitation to Costa Rica Sims Model Academy after the registration interview and tuition payment are successfully completed.
NO FAILURE POLICY
Any Costa Rica Sims Model Academy student who does not successfully pass the final evaluation will be invited to retake Course VI: The Graduation, free of charge, on the date and time it is offered during the next program session.
We will continue to work and provide the proper resources available to each student until they successfully pass the final evaluation. No refunds will be granted at any point during the program.
BEST OF CLASS AWARD
The Best Of Class award is a unique feature to Costa Rica Sims Model Academy, which will honor one student, as agreed upon by the judges during the final evaluation. The recipient of the Best Of Class Award will receive an exclusive invitation to join Costa Rica Sims Productions.
Costa Rica Sims Productions was established in August 2009, and continuously produces high-quality fashion shows and events from the best Second Life® designers located within Costa Rica Sims Colonial Shopping District.
