Hello Everyone......
This week, I have the pleasure of speaking with Amutey DeCuir, the creative mind behind Bliss Couture.
Bliss Couture is always on the cutting edge of fashion.Â
A high quality gowns specialist, always a step ahead and innovative at all times.
BM > Thank you taking the time to meet with me today. And I would like to welcome you as one of the designers to the growing commercial district in Costa Rica Sims. Can you tell us a little about yourself?
AC:> I am simply one of the designers here in Second Life that practices my passion in this amazing virtual world. I run the business with much help rendered from the wonderful people on my team. It allows me to spend most of my time doing what I love - design and creativity.
BM > How long have you been on Second Life?
AC:> I was rezzed in 2007, over 1600 days old in Second Life.
BM > what do you find as the biggest challenges in selecting the designs and items you produce? Also are there any real life designers that influence your decisions?
AC:> There are top 2 objective attributes before I start any design, "innovative" and "quality". These 2 factors have helped me to keep the freshness and quality of my designs, giving my customers value for money they spend.
In daily life, we are all influenced by things and people around us. I can't say I'm not being influenced by any real life designers, but I see them as an inspiration.
BM > I’m sure you have seen many improvements in all the clothing that is offered on SL. Do you believe that the introduction of sculpties has made that possible? And what might we expect in the future?
AC:> It's an answer most people already know…mesh. Sculpties do provide a path for more realistic creativity, however mesh will push this to new heights in not just the Fashion trade, but the all of Second Life. Sculpties have played an important role in my designs, the challenge of blending them into my creativity is always a moment of fun.
BM > The upcoming fashion show this week in Costa Rica will be showcasing your new Fall Fur Collection. How did you go about selecting the products we will see this week?
AC:> Casual yet elegant, comprises of course with my 2 other objective attributes as mentioned above. Within this range,  I wanted to showcase the beauty and versatility of fur in the fashion world of SL.

BM > I see you have many store locations. How do you like the new commercial district created here in Costa Rica Sims and what made you decide to bring your wonderful clothing line to us?
AC:> I have been with Costa Rica for a long time, it has always been one of my favorite shopping districts. The mall management has been wonderful and understanding, they are constantly actively promoting the mall to enhance the traffic, benefiting all the tenants and designers.
BM > I would like to thank you for your precious time. Do you have final words you would like to share with the residents as to fashion tips or what me might be seeing in the future?
AC:> Others may have known Bliss Couture as a gown specialist, which is apparently what I started off with. Today, Bliss Couture offers Hair, Casual everyday look, Cocktail dresses, Bridal and of course Formal Gowns. It is still growing and I am still constantly learning to make it better.
Every customer’s feedback to me is valuable, it helps me to learn and improve, striving to provide nothing but the best to my customers. That's also the reason why Bliss has an amazing group of people helping me to achieve this mission. To be always around when our customers need us.
Bliss Couture's 2011 Fur Collection is finally out: Dahlia, Lecker, Adiaryz, Lionheart and Ruffles are available in a divine palette of eight colors each. The fur opulent sense of luxury inspired the signature new design for the Fall season, and more looks will be released soon aiming to offer a complete wardrobe full of jackets, tops, stoles, vests, coats to match with short pants, jeans, leggings and bodices accordingly to your day moods and in a wide range of tones.
