Hello, fellow residents, I'm Wet! Yes...excited about it, I am! I am new to Costa Rica, and have recently joined the Executive Team. I will be taking care of helping new residents become more familiar with Costa Rica sims, and assisting the Executive Team in making their lives a little easier, in order for them to have more time for things that they are specializing in. I will help new residents with any issues/questions they have from very basic info like prims, objects, land ownership/group information, building, and any questions in regards to the land convenant.
My very first project here at Costa Rica will be the "Avatar Fashion Project." Giancarlo has asked me to head up this new program, and I have kindly accepted the duties of the task! I am somewhat excited and thrilled that I will get this opportunity.
"Avatar Fashion Project" will help to assist those who may not have the funds to fully enjoy their SL experience by helping them purchase new skins, shapes and the basics to create their own individuality here in SL. We need to be aware that not many have the luck to live here in Costa Rica or may not have the financial means to make a better Sl for themselves. This is our way to give back to those in need who also deserve a great experience. Our manager and top scripter, Emileigh Starbrook, has created a donation box that we will place in Laguna Arenal, our shopping district later on this week. There are 93 residents here at Costa Rica as for april 2008. If each resident can donate just 100L a month to make this happen, it will help 3 new players have a better SL experience. Much like RL, we sometimes have to reach into our pockets here in SL and give what we can to make other peoples SL's more enjoyable.
This process isn't going to help just anyone. There will be a pretty intense application created for those to fill out and send back to me with questions similar to, "Why do you think you deserve this newbie makeover," and, "If you were to win this makeover, what would you hope to accomplish once you are unique to SL?" They will also be interviewed in person to help weed out any "alts" or "fakes."
This program will help speed up the process and get those new to SL on their way to enjoying their SL experience. You will all see more updates as time goes on over the next few weeks.
I am thrilled to be a member of the best team in SL, the Executive Team of the Costa Rica Sims!
