Last Saturday at our Sail-a-Bration, we managed to surprise two very special people with our Under the Sea party to show our appreciation and friendship! Giancarlo Takacs, Costa Rica's CEO, arrived to the scuba area and was greeted by a large group of submerged avatars gargling, SURPRISE! and HOOOOO! The look on his face was priceless...I think I may have even seen a tear or two.

Guests were in mermaid/merman outfits or just summer wear. DJ Azu, was spinning the tunes above the fully stocked bar complete with its own sexy mermaid bartender. The sparkling ocean floor with the ocean life all around the guests created a very different experience, rather than the usual club scene you find in SL. Balloons were even scattered about and magically floated around the party without emerging to the surface.

Giancarlo was sent to the mermaid clothing store and quickly returned with his sexy outfit. I must say here that I was very impressed and overjoyed to see how many men were brave enough to wear the themed attire. Some like Hutto Oh and Peter Nevzerov fit in perfectly as tropical fish. As for the other men, well perhaps they were more like “chickens of the sea!”

Rawly Rousselot wasn’t able to make it to the party but sent along a lovely note of apology and appreciation. You were missed and I would’ve loved to see you dressed up in gills and fins. Thanks to HarmMonica Aaybe, Karima Hoisan, and DzinWiz Babii for all their hard work planning this memorable event. Enjoy the pics!
