Security Orbs and Alotted Prims

Dear residents,

Our estate was designed to provide a community feeling.  All regions (sims) were connected so any resident could fly, walk and sail freely. There are not many private estates these days that offer all of this.

Residence in our estate is based on common sense practices. We strive to provide you with a fun safe and pleasant environment, I am sure you don't want to feel as you are living in a prison. You expect to be able to sail and fly around freely and  to take your partner out and enjoy the surroundings without someone or something knocking you for a loop.

But we must work together as a community.

The following are some of the rules regarding land settings ,security orbs, and alloted prims , these rules must be followed at all times since they are part of our covenant. if you have any  questions please contact me or read the covenant.

LAND SETTINGS

Click on the land and choose about land. Under the OPTIONS TAB, uncheck the create objects "all residents" box.  Please DO NOT change anything else. See photo below

Now go to the ACCESS TAB, the "Allow Public Access" Box MUST be checked at all times. This will allow other residents to sail and fly around freely. Neither of the "Block Access By" Boxes should be checked, If they are checked, this will create the ban lines which are a violation of our covenant. See photo below.

SECURITY ORBS

For those residents who feel a greater sense of security, they can buy a security orb. However, devices like this contain listening and scanning scripts and those will contribute to lag. If you decide you need a security system, access should be granted at all times to the Costa Rica Sims Executive Team. Please remember that security systems are meant to secure your house and NOT the entire parcel and must give at least a 60 seconds warning.

If we discover that a security orb has been set to protect an entire parcel, including the waterways and skies and by doing so, it ejects other residents, who are passing by, or it interferes with your neighbors being able to gain access to their own parcels, your security system will be immediately removed and we will add a L$2,000 fine to your next tier payment.

ALLOTED PRIMS

At least 32 unused prims must be allotted on parcels at all time. Owners of an entire homestead region need to leave at least 96 unsued prims at all times. This allows for other residents to walk, flyover or sail without crashing.

When you first discovered the estate you now call your sl™ home, the first impression was of a realistically landscaped area, and a pleasant community that made you feel right at home!

With your help in little over two years we have become what many consider the best private estate in all Second Life®, so lets keep working together as one.

Love & Light
