Day Two of the Costa Rica 2nd Year Anniversary Celebration started off in high gear with the Alta Costura Fashion show. Produced by Costa Rica Sims Productions, hosted by Clyde Saunders, and modeled by Seth Diabolito, Florentine Rau, Payton Heron, and Imani Enzo, the fashions of some of SL's most well-known fashion designers were strutted on the runway!

A crowd gathered shortly in the plush/posh Fashion venue of our fine estate, with residents and guests unable to contain their enthusiasm for the haute couture being presented by these fine models. Selections from such stores as WMD, Aleida Rhode, Indyra Originals, Damiani, AlphaMale, DCNY, Orage Creations, ICING, CheerNo, GARCONS TOKYO, Chantkare, Baiastice, Emery, Phoenix Rising, BlackLace, and Narcotix were presented to the tunes of our very on estate DJ, Azu Catteneo.

After the show, we threw decorum to the wind and all jumped on the stage as Azu changed the tempo a bit to some hot dance tunes ... a nice fun segue between the two major events of the day. Later that evening, the Criss Museum of Contemporary Art held their Artist Memorial Awards presentation as part of their "A September 11th Remembrance Ceremony." DJ Simon Janic was the MC in-between tunes, and provided a good atmosphere while dozens of guests browsed through the entries of original art commemorating that tragic day and competing for the coveted award.

First place went to Silene Christen for her work, Raining Tears, with 2nd going to Bitter Tear by Nima Benoir. 3rd Place went to Never Forget by Arlow Bonetta, with the People's Choice award going to Sledge Roffo. Congratulations to all the winners whose art is making SL a more beautiful place!
