Hello Everyone!
Some of you may know me from my blog, Phantom's Republic - a growing project by me and a few friends, an effort that seeks to celebrate the "art of living in SL." In the year and few months we've been online, we've had our ups and downs, but our commitment to fair objective commentary has earned us a loyal following and a quite a few new friends as we cover emerging venues, fashion, and lifestyle in our virtual world. With hundreds of posts under our belt, Phantom's Republic is a great directory of resources for the best of what SL has to offer in fashion ... and beyond!
This past Spring, I had the pleasure of covering Costa Rica Sims ... this beautiful complex I discovered quite by accident. It wasn't that the reputation of Giancarlo's marvelous creation hadn't already spread around like wildfire; I just hadn't been paying attention, even though my foot had been on CRS soil more than once while shopping at Emery's, a.C Store, or Kal Rau. This particular day, I did more than shop ... I left the store and looked around. Giancarlo nearly landed on top of me as I snooped around the Commercial District, and he offered me an unforgettable tour which I covered in my blog.
Recently, Giancarlo surprised me again; this time, with an exciting opportunity to join the CRS Executive Team. As your new Estate Journalist/Blogger, my job will be covering new merchants and new product releases by existing merchants here in the Commercial District of Costa Rica Sims, which I will do from my current blog: Phantom's Republic. My blog will be linkable from the main website here under "Resident Resources," and when you're redirected to my blog, simply click the big CRS "official fashion blog" button on the left to read articles specifically written for or about our wonderful Estate. Of course, you are more than welcome to browse and read the rest of the blog as well.
My other task will be to cover Estate events on the main CRS blog, so when you see me at the monthly Rezz Party and Fashion Shows, say "Hi!" ... I'm pretty friendly.
During the next week or so, I'll be making "rounds," introducing myself to our Executive Team, the various merchants of the Commercial District, and my wonderful new neighbors -- some of whom I've met already. If you have any questions about how I can promote your business in the District, do not hesitate to contact me via IM or email (
