'Costa Rica Sims Living'
A Community Magazine developed by the residents
Costa Rica Sims is currently gathering it's "natural resources" for an exciting new community ammenity. We would like to produce a magazine that is centered around the community and also from WITHIN the Estate.
We plan on accomplishing this with the expertise and experience of the residents. This should be a simple task, since we already have many of the top experts in all the necessary fields as residents. We have top experts in graphic design, fashion/design/modeling, writing, magazine editors, photographers, and so on.
As you may already now, Costa Rica Sims utilizes it's website for a majority of it's announcements and important information. Currently, it's web traffic is higher than nearly any other SecondLife based URL. If you go to http://alexa.com, you can type in any site to determine it's three month traffic average. We feel that since we have such a broad group who would be interested in reading/viewing further information about the community, that it would be a benefical addition to our network.
Within the magazine, we will include the following concepts/ideas, and are open to any interesting ideas you might have:
*Designer showcase of the month - interview with designer of the month that is connected with the monthly fashion show.
*Resident of the month/At Home With - interview with one of the residents, which will include photos of their home.
*SLCeleb of the month - Interview with well-known avie in SL, that resides within CR.
*Home builder of the month
*Model of the month - Interview with one well-known model. They could give tips for aspiring models, etc.
*Amenity of the month
*Various columns discussing where to find the best furniture and accessories for your home.
*How to give yourself a mini-makeover, etc.
*Fashion Editorials - resident models will be used in conjunction
*Gossip Column
*Event Calendar
*How to landscape
*Eco Awareness
*DJ Azu Turntable
*Monthly fashion show highlights
We are currently seeking experienced people who can help with the production/marketing of the publication. Magazine staff will be compensated, as well. We need the following positions:
**Chief Editor
**Editor
**Creative Director
**Photographers
**Writers
**Graphic Designers
If you are a current resident of Costa Rica Sims and feel like you could help, please contact me.
Love & Light,
Gian
