MARCH...Black Tie Affair

Ok, so who wasn't at the party of the year??? I must say I have never seen this many people in one place for so long in my entire SL. Everywhere I looked, was a sea of name tags and dancing bodies. The one and only Miss Costa Rica, Pup Witherspoon, attended. I think she was near the estate's CEO Giancarlo Takacs but I'm not sure. I do know the huge picture of her on the wall stood out and reminded me she was there somewhere. My refuge was to get up high on top of one of the giant black boxes and to watch the event unfold. Super DJ's Azu Catteneo and Kromus Korobase spun the techno trance tunes for four hours sharing the stream. These talented guys didn't have any problem working together to deliver an exciting and memorable time. In fact, they announced a partnership together (no, not that kind of partnership, a working one) and even sent out black ties as souvenirs. See! How do I look?
The event was held to proudly introduce our estate's airport to SL and it was upstairs in the waiting area of this beautiful building. Thankfully, the airport operations weren't affected by the party and all flights departed and arrived on time. The only delays and cancelations were in teleportation.
The event was black tie and there were contests for sexiest formal wear for both male and female. The prize was about 5400L for each and guess what?? I tied for best female and Isabel Brocco won for best male!!!!!!!! Apparently, a few women tried to get the upper hand by entering the less crowded male contest board. Go Isabel! You were sexy and I forgive you for taking up most of my dancing spot on top of the black box in that killer dress! I want to just take a quick moment to thank everyone who voted for me. Muah!
So, after that contest ended, the room started to quiet down a bit and clear.
Another contest ensued and this one was bigger and better than the first. I've never seen a contest prize so big, have you? Look!
Yes, that says 18,500L and there were other sponsors who threw in some extras too! Contributors include MaxMarch industries, LBD, House of Gestures, Kallisto, Costa Del Pacifico, ad Madison. Well, I did enter again but I couldn't imagine winning twice in one night in the same dress. I was considering changing or getting out my alt to go for the gold, but the lag was just too great. I couldn't take the chance of not getting back in. There was talk about the boards being rigged and threats of taking the case to the Supreme Court. People were voting and complaining that their vote was being recorded for the wrong person. I also noticed there were a lot more people coming in that I didn't know..woohoo! Perhaps word of our contest prizes went around SL??? Congratulations to the winners announced by the board. I really don't know if it was legit but I won't fight the decision. Here's our grand prize winners: Sunshine Zhangsun and Abacus Mimistrobell.
Now at one point, the room was told that was Rawly Rousselot was ruthed and someone needed to get a pic of him fast before the bitch ran away. Okay, I was pretty fast but I'm not so sure he was indeed ruthed.
