Costa Rica is saddened today, after learning of the long time residents Maggie Mahoney and Ocean Bates departure from Second Life.  Together, we have been involved in various activities with RUNWAY Productions, and wish the best for this dynamic pair as they venture into the realm of real life.

As many of you know, RUNWAY Productions was a staple within our community, becoming valuable assets when partnering for different events such as the Designers Showcase, Mr. Costa Rica Sims Pageant, Miss Costa Rica Sims Pageant, as well as several other activities.  With Maggie and Ocean leaving Second Life, we have lost a dear set of friends and business Partners.

In order to continue the legacy of RUNWAY Productions within the Costa Rica Sims, we have currently begun negotiations with various production companies to continue some of the activities.  As of now, we have had to cancel the Designer’s Showcase for April, but we do hope we will bring a new and exciting fashion filled showcase in May.  As details unfold, we will be sharing it with you all.

We hope you will all join with us in wishing Maggie and Ocean a fond farewell.  While it saddens our hearts to see them go, it is with love we will remember the times we shared with you.  To read their official statement please visit the RUNWAY website.
