Serenade Yourself with the Sounds of Costa Rica

Hello Residents and Friends,

When the Costa Rica Sims were but an idea in development, and I was first beginning to explore the world of Second Life, I began to wonder this wonderful world…venturing from sim to sim while finding out just what it is that Second Life had to offer, and what the dream of Costa Rica could offer travelers like myself and it's future residents. It was then that I noticed the importance of something so often overlooked. The importance of environmental sounds is something that is all too often taken for granted, being overlooked in the fray of building and planning, where so many people forget to add the finishing touches that only aid to enhance our Second Lives.

It was after visiting the many beautiful Sims in Second Life that had no environmental ambience, and comparing them to the Sims that had indeed remembered to include this invisible décor that added just the right finishing touch to my experience. It was then I committed myself to add this wonderful addition to the estate that I was going to build. After much research, I discovered Acoustic Alchemy and it's owner, Hastur Pierterson.

In the early days, I remember bombarding Hastur with requests for custom made sound orbs that we could use around the estate, even requesting various sounds of the jungle and various species of birds regardless of their home environments. It was always a dream of mine to have sound orbs that had been customized to relay the environmental sounds of the beautiful nature areas of my native country.
