Announcing Mr. Costa Rica Sims 2009

 

Hello residents, it is with great pleasure that I have been chosen to coordinate the 1st annual Mr. Costa Rica Sims pageant. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Giancarlo Takacs and the Executive Team for this incredible chance to coordinate the pageant.

 
The winner or Mr. Costa Rica Sims 2009 will represent the entire estate at the first annual Mr. Virtual World Competition, May 2nd, 2009.
 
Mr. Costa Rica Sims pageant will be implementing a few rules from the Miss Costa Rica Sims pageant and they are as follows...
 
1. The pageant ONLY applies for Costa Rica Sims residents.
2. All entries must be received by Sunday February 8th at 12pm SLT. 
3. To enter you must submit a notecard titled "Mr. CRS Entry - Name" with an attached headshot to Clyde Saunders.
4. All entries will be on display at the estate mansion on Monday February 9th where residents and friends of the Costa Rica Sims group will vote on the 8 finalists that will compete in the Mr. Costa Rica Sims pageant, March 7th 2009 at 10am SLT. 
 
With approximately 5 weeks until the pageant, I strongly urge contestants to check your availability during the next month to see if you can commit to rehearsals and other required elements of the pageant if selected as a finalist.
 
Avatars will be judged upon appearance, runway skills, and personality. 
 
The official panel of judges and prizes will be announced in the coming days.

Lastly, I would like to strongly encourage all male residents to participate. As a whole, this will bring our community even closer then we already are.
 
Below you will find the contract for the winner of the Mr Costa Rica Sims Pageant.

Contract For Mr Costa Rica Sims
 
Mr Costa Rica Sims will be under contract with the The Costa Rica Sims for one year. It should be understood by the winner of the contest that he will be a main representative of The Costa Rica Sims Estate.  As such, he needs to abide by the following guidelines during his time as Mr Costa Rica Sims. Failure to do so may result in revocation of the title and it will be passed to the first runner up.
 
1.  Expressed consent must be given by Costa Rica Sims Pageant Organization for any modeling, presentation or other paid or volunteer work where he will be known as "Mr Costa Rica Sims."
 
2.  The winner of the Mr Costa Rica Sims may take any modeling or any other activity he chooses as long as the following conditions are adhered to:
 
  a) He is not being presented as "Mr Costa Rica Sims."
 
  b) The modeling or activity may not have a detrimental effect on the image or reputation of The Costa Rica Sims Estate or any of its sponsors.
 
3. Mr Costa Rica Sims may not engage in escort services, erotic dance, or any other activity that may have a negative effect on The Costa Rica Sims Estate or any of its sponsors. Proper social behavior is expected at all times of Mr Costa Rica Sims, as his behavior is a direct reflection upon The Costa Rica Sims Estate.
 
4. Mr Costa Rica Sims will be expected to come to the events of The Costa Rica Sims Estate as needed, as well as others that he may get hired to attend.
 
5. Mr Costa Rica Sims must remain similar to the avatar that he won the title with for the duration of his reign. Changing hair style, eye color, and  is acceptable, but he must keep the shape and skin that he had when he won the pageant during an official event.
 
6. The winner of The Mr Costa Rica Sims must remain a resident of The Costa Rica Sims Estate during his year-long reign.
 
7. The Mr Costa Rica Sims must also make himself available to any product or services promotions by sponsors of the Mr Costa Rica Sims 2009 Pageant.
 
8. In the event Mr Costa Rica Sims resigns his title, he must give a written statement to The Costa Rica Sims Pageants Org explaining his departure.
 
9. In case of any violation of this contract or the in-world disappearance of the winner, the first finalist will take over the title.
