Did you happen to hear the boots stomping and the yeehaw’ing from the direction of the Horse Farm on Sunday, September 21?   Or… were you part of the noise making crowd that joined us in Volcan Arenal for the September Rezz Day Celebration for those Costa Rica Sims residents that originally rezz'd in September?

It was a good ol’ time… the Country/Western-inspired event started with Strummer Vultee who entertained us with some hot country tunes for the first 30 minutes.  Our first experience with Strummer was at La Cantina last month.  He proved at this Rezz Day party that not only can he sing the blues; he can deliver the country sound as well!

The crowd was building and seemed very happy to slide across the dance floor in their best country/western gear.  Lots of cowboy hats and several spurs kickin’ up some dust out there including Rufferto Rutherford, Hutto Oh, Rezz Day boy - Ethaniel Rajal, Clyde Saunders, Lea Anatra, Hollee Zhora, Rawly Rousselot, Rezz Day celebrant – Nym Carnell sporting a rather different “look”, Corialote Douglas, Butch Kuhn and many others.

After Strummer wrapped up his session, our very own DJ Azu took the stream and continued the party playing a set that had the dance floor hopping and the boots stomping for the next 90 minutes.  As always, the crowd was ready to “spam” with those Azu and Costa Rica Sims gestures…showing the appreciation for the sounds.

As DJ Azu played his last tunes, I heard the crowd sigh with disappointment that the event was coming to an end… seems they were just getting warmed up and wanted the tunes to keep on streaming!   But alas, every party has an ending and this one was no exception.  But never fear…there will be more parties to experience in the Costa Rica Sims Estate! 

Happy Rezz Day, once again, to our September Rezz Day residents - Carley, Eden, Erik, Ethaniel, Jamie, Mikkyon, Nym, Shae, Tanner and yes, yours truly!
