On January 12 2012 Dream Seeker Estates Corporation, the third largest virtual real estate holding corporation in Second Life, has acquired the Costa Rica Sims estate (http://costaricasims.com) to complement its existing portfolio of Dream Seeker Estates (http://www.

Dream Seeker Estates, the largest estate in the corporation's portfolio, provides Second Life residents with medium to large commercial and residential land parcels, specializing in rentals of entire full prim and homestead regions. To better support the needs of its residents, the corporation has established an organizational structure with dedicated Support and Sales teams. "This is important," says Zeebster, "because it allows us to hire people with the right skills for the right jobs, and allows the support team members to focus on helping the residents instead of chasing after the next sale." True to its core values, the estate has proven itself a responsible member of the global community and has sponsored a number of charitable organizations, focusing on medical research and timely response to natural disaster relief for underdeveloped countries. Complemented as of recently by the addition of Rockhopper Estates, the corporation now provides a full spectrum of land rental services supplying residents with parcels from 256 sqm to full regions.
Costa Rica Sims estate brought a new dimension to the corporation's portfolio - a well established and vibrant community and a team that made it happen. "This is something we always tried to establish within our other estates" says Zeebster "so this acquisition completes us in pursuit of our own vision". The Costa Rica Sims community has been established around the vision of the landscapes, architecture and natural habitats of the real country of Costa Rica, with a strong focus on the fashion industry of Second Life. The estate has developed a true sense of community amongst its residents who get together for regularly scheduled events ranging from retro dance nights and latest display of fashion shows to its two iconic events - Miss Costa Rica Sims and Mr Costa Rica Sims. The team that has been responsible for making it all happen has now joined the Dream Seeker Estates Corporation and will remain distinct and committed to Community Engagement. Its budget has been nearly doubled and is expected to continue to grow in order to fund existing events, add new types of events, and engage the communities of the other estates in the corporate portfolio.
The individual strengths of the three estates when combined under the leadership of one management team provide synergies that open doors to possibilities which did not previously exist. Zeebster believes that the corporation is now well rounded and well positioned to raise the bar of excellence for Second Life private estates. "We are already working on something big that we will announce very soon," says Zeebster. While the community watches to see exactly what will come out of this newly transformed organization, Zeebster and his team are looking at the months ahead and rolling up their sleeves, excited at the new opportunities that are finally now possible.
