Laguna Arenal, Costa Rica--On Sunday, August 3, 2008, a band of marauding bikers ran down a pedestrian on the streets of the Laguna Arenal commercial district. According to eyewitness accounts, noted socialite Sunshine Zhangsun was attempting to cross the street, making her way from the park, headed in the direction of the LeeZu Baxter Designs boutique, located on South Street. As the victim stepped off the sidewalk, and entered the right-of-way, a group of four people on motor powered bikes came charging down the thoroughfare, and allegedly struck Miss Zhangsun. The victim was left lying in the road, and the gang quickly proceeded in the direction of the Jeepers Creepers store.

Although the identities of the gang members have not been confirmed, security camera footage that recorded the incident reveal the nametags of the alleged bikers. The photos are being reviewed by authorities. Miss Zhangsun is reported to be recuperating at her home, and was last seen talking to personal injury attorney Imagetcha Sucka.
