Hi there Costa Rica friends.  We have not forgotten those of you who were unable to make the Miss Costa Rica Sponsors showcase but who are nevertheless dying to see the Miss Costa Rica jewels and the fashion by the sponsors the girls will be wearing on the big day....

The following brands: Azul, Blacklace, Diamond Avatar, Finesmith, FIR & MNA, Gizza, House Of Europe, Muism, Peqe, Rebel Hope and Shiki are sponsors of the Miss Costa Rica Sims 2011. Costa Rica Sims thanks these incredible SL™ designers for their support.

The showcase was hosted by Clyde Saunders, Director of Costa Rica Sims Productions.

The models for the event were:

Up first was Draakje Dailey, wearing the latest creation from GizzA. She wore the Tricot set in Ultramarine with Flax Pants in white.

The Tricot set features a dark blue tunic top accentuated with a red cinch belt, and scarf with floral a sculpted floral accent.  Draakje also worethe Flax Pants in White, which are the perfect complement to this outfit.

Giz Seorn of GizzA  who hails from Turkey, has had a strong background in photography before entering SL. She graduated with a Fine Arts Degree, and has taken SL Fashion by storm!

Next was  Hikaru Enimo rocking the new Suede Shirt in Champagne and Sport Pants in Olive from GizzA.
The Suede shirt in Champage is perfect for the man on the go! This shirt can be worn open to expose your chest, or layered to complete the look. The sculpted details on the shirt add several realistic elements to it.  The Sport Pants in Olive are the best match to complete this look. These can be worn as a full-length version, or shorts, depending on the look you want to achieve!

Giz stated that her style is always evolving and she designs her pieces to be worn by everyone for any occasion. She can describe all her creations in one word..."Elegance".

Payton Heron made her way to the runway wearing an awesome combination outfit from Muism. The loosely fitted Wrangler Denims in Dark Rinse. She pairs the incredible jeans with the Scoop Tee in Black, which dresses the jean up a bit and would make it perfect for an urban night out!

To pump up the appeal on the look, Payton accessorizes wisely with more great pieces from Musim. The aviator-style Alibi shades, the awesome Chrontech G5 watch in Black work with the outfit perfectly ! The Troy Boots in Broken give this look the perfect finishing touch! A confident and simple look!

Icemocolo Voom (Musim) jumped right into designing by making a full skin and whole outfit for his avatar directly after "rezzing" on day #1!

Looking stong and tempestuous in Muism was Roe Woodford.  Roe shows us more color mix and matching with the Retro Puffer Vest in White. She has paired it with the Scoop Tee in Dark and the Wrangler Denims in Black. Roe finishes off the look with a pair of the Alibi shades.  As you may have noticed, the lenses in these shades also have the recolor option.  Icemocolo really allows for versatility in these pieces!

Icemocolo came to SL an already accomplished Graphic Designer. He chose the name Muism behind philosophy and zen. "I spend a lot of time in Second Life because I love creating.  Creating is what allows me to express my fashion".

Sauntering out onto the runway next dressed to impress in FIR & MNA was Pheonix Reyer.  Pheonix wore The Gilmore Shirt Red which has a color change option on the tie. Making this shirt a must have for every man! Pheonix chose The 1977 Jeans Black, and The Ashford Brogues White. Ready for a night on the town!

Rob Moonlites, from Dublin, Ireland chose his brand's name being that it means "men and women" in Irish. Having no previous experience, he started designing after being in SL only 6 months!

From the yacht to the club, Hikaru was ready to roll!   Hikaru wore head to toe FIR & MNA. Donning The Marino Cardigan Navy and The Hangover Pants Grey, and pairing The Delaney Shoes Brown, Hikaru is casual and classy.

Rob states that he tends to make " items that are more classic vs. trendy", and tries to release one item a week. he also stated he's very excited and working towards his first release in mesh.

Draakje Dailey looked incredible in what else? Blacklace's Incredible!  A stunning combination of demi bra, corset and matching panties in violet and accented by sensual black lace edging. The silk gloves, garters, and stockings take sexy to the next level! Draakjke acomplimented the lingerie with a skin from Diamond Avatar. She wore the Sonya skin in Tan.

Mariska Simons has been designing almost 2 years and releases 30-40 collections per year. She is very inspired by Real Life Fashion.

Looking very flirty in floral is Payton Heron wore Spring Fling by Blackelace. A lovely soft palette of pastels gives this bra, panty, stockin, and garter set a sweet but very sensual appeal.   Payton wears the Diamond Avatar Shila skin in Sunkissed. The lucious skin works perfectly with the delicate lingerie!

Mariska stated "My creation line of classy lingerie will leave a lasting image of the sensual, alluring, glamorous, and sexy side every woman possesses. Blacklace clothing complements a woman’s shape, allowing her to feel feminine from head to toe. Fashions are created to flatter every style and body shape, promising to show off that sultry figure women desire to have. Designing is a passion and an obsession for me and is an outlet that allows my creativity to flow. The fashion trends of yesterday, today and tomorrow inspire my work".

Looking ever so elegant in Rebel Hope's Etoile is Roe Woodford. A striking gown of onyx and sterling will guarantee all eyes on you at any Gala!  Roe also chose to accessorize her ensemble with the Etoile necklace, rings, and bracelets of black diamonds and pearls all by Rebel Hope.

Rebel Hope began her journey into SL Fashion after one month and with a very small amount of previous experience. She is a person of true vision and creates " what is on my mind at the moment".

Looking dashing and dignified as only he can was Pheonix Reyer, wearing Rebel Hope's Signature Tuxedo Black, with it's crisp, sharp lines, flex prim tails, and pocket watch.  Wearing Rebel Hope's Signature Tuxedo Black, with its crisp, sharp lines, flex prim tails, and pocket watch. This exquisitely made Tuxedo is sure to be the toast of the town!

Rebel Hope describes herself, "I'm a pretty cool chick!  I guess I'm a Jackie of all trades here in SL.  I do about all content creation you can imagine. I'm intrigued by creating so many different things.  I run four businesses in SL and very proud of being involved here for almost 7 years.  I knew straight off coming to Second Life that this was going to become a business for me after hearing the potential here and I've been very fortunate to have been a part of all the creative mixtures of talent here in SL".

Next, bringing beauty and grace to the runway was Draakje Daily in House of Europe's Diana gown. The stitching, detail, and soft flowing prim of the skirt, this gown is simply breathtaking.

Didier Rascon currently resides in Carcassone, France, and as a RL Architect he was well versed in PhotoShop when he came to SL. He's very inspired by RL trends. "Especially from my favourite designers like Jean-Paul Gaultier, Karl Lagerfeld, Dior, Jean-Claude Jitrois".

Hikaru Enimo followed wearing House Of Europe's Casino. Casino is very regal with a bit of a Grecian tone with its midnight black jacket and pants, and white long scarf. Casino can be worn at any formal occasion, with or without the scarf; making it a mix and match must have for all men!

When asked for words of wisdom to new designers, Didier replied "You'll have to work hard if you want to be recognize as a good designer, but the hard work always pays ! And don't try to do better than the others, just try to do better than yourself !".

Payton Heron puckered up wearing Peqe's Kiss Me! This fun and flirty tunic and matching legging set needs no words. The lips on the top say it all, and Payton wears it flawlessly.

Inex Hax chose her brand's name after herself. "It's a short way to say ' Shortie ' in Portuguese and since I'm a shortie I decided it fitted!". She tries to release 4 collections per year as we have 4 seasons.

Looking lovely in Peqe's Plumage was Roe Woodford.  This rich cobalt blue dress is stunning. Coupled with the peacock inspired shoulder and train, this design is truly Haute Couture!

Inex has a few words to up and coming designers. "I think they should keep their creations the way they want, using the patterns they feel are best because the msot important thing is to believe in what you do and if that's what they like most they should rock it!".

If you are looking for a sexy sundress that can go from day to night then the Kay dress by Shiki is the perfect choice and our darling Draakje Dailey heated up the scene in this seductive dress.  The one shoulder bodice flows perfectly into the full skirt and the thigh-high slit will have all eyes on you when you saunter into the room. Decorated with large ornate sky blue flowers this is one dress you must add to your wardrobe.

Shinichi Mathy brings his offerings to our SL Fashion world from Tokyo, Japan. The inspiration behind the Shiki brand name is "Shiki means "the four seasons" in Japanese. I wanted to create clothing that reflected the four seasons.

The room remained ‘hot’ with Pheonix Reyer in the fabulous Shiki Blue Passion suit.  The clean lines of this tropical white suit pairs pants that are cut slim to show off Pheonix's body. The ensemble is embossed with large green and yellow tropical flowers and the matching floral tie. This is certainly a look the ladies will love.

Shinichi came to SL with no previous experience and now releases " 2 major collections. One for spring-summer and one for fall-winter". He's also very excited to start working with mesh. He stated "I think it's great that we are seeing new technologies. I know one of these days I must learn to create mesh in order to keep up with the trends".

Payton Heron showed us Canna Sombra in Coral. Canna Sombra is a very sophisticated and beautiful dress.   Canna Sombra is a two-toned gown that features unique flared out prim collar and a form fitting bodice and the skirt flares in a mermaid style at the bottom.  Mami Jewell never fails to impress with her elegant, sophisticated, and breathtakingly gorgeous creations!

Mami came to Second Life in March of 20007 after hearing about it from a Brazilian friend of hers. The opportunity to create something virtually really intrigued her, so here she is creating some of the most beautiful formalwear in SL!

Reign Congrejo, Miss Costa Rica Sims 2010 made her way to the runway showcase in the custom created Finesmith Crown and Jewelry for the winner of Miss Costa Rica Sims 2011, and the stunning J.e. dress from Azul in Sapphire. The Azul. J.e. dress features a gold trimmed underbust and cap sleeves. There is a very seductive low-drop open back and a curve hugging bodice.  J.e. flairs at the bottom with a delicate tanslucent fabric.

Mami Jewell is a well recognised name in the world of fashion in Second Life along with her brand AZUL. AZUL is undoubtedly a personal favourite fashion brand of mine in the formal gown and cocktail dress category. It would be very difficult not to look amazing in one of Mami’s creations.

Be sure to get a glimpse at those fabulous jewels, created by Yula Finesmith! This is one of the most beautiful crowns ever created for Miss Costa Rica Sims! The platinum crown is set with diamonds, as well as rubies, emeralds, and sapphires to represent the elements of nature.
