Contest Dates To Remember
Third Friday of each month the contest will open for contestants starting ,Friday June 17, 2011.
First of each month starting July 1, 2011 we will announce the contestants.
Third Saturday of each month starting on July 16,2011 we will announce that months winner.
Today I am interviewing Costa Rica Sims COO Samantha Ohrberg about an upcoming event that promises to be one of the highlights of the summer when Costa Rica Sims launches the search for the “Hottest SL Bachelors”, so let’s take some time and get all the details.
Hello Samantha. I am so happy to be able to sit down with you today! I can’t wait to learn more about this new fabulous event, so spill it, what is the “Search for the Hottest SL Bachelors” and how did it come about?
Hi Syd and thanks for letting me share with you and all of our residents and friends this hot new event. We all know Costa Rica Sims has some of the hottest and sexiest residents on the grid. So, what better way for us to kick off the summer with a search for some the hottest bachelors around Second Life? It came about when one day Gian and I were talking about how many hot residents we have that are single so we thought, hey why don’t we open our borders and start bringing some goodies to these residents and see what happens. LOL
Sounds exciting and like a lot of fun! What are the requirements for these sexy Bachelors is the contest then open to all male Second Life residents gay or straight?
First, the bachelor must be sexy and I mean true eye candy... But that is not all. These guys must have wonderful personalities, charming, cordial and must know how to make others happy. And yes Sydney, the contest is open to ALL men around Second Life, you do not have to be a Costa Rica Sims resident in order to enter the contest.
Since, the “unofficial” announcement of the contest, have you had any potential bachelors inquiring for more details?
It is so funny that you ask… I was not aware that Giancarlo had posted the banner on flickr or that he sent a group notice. Suddenly I started receiving IMs from random men inquiring about the contest. For that split second, I said to myself , who the heck leaked information about the contest. That little angel on my shoulder whispered in my ear Giancarlo. I was like oh not GC, so I IMd our fearless leader and he just laughed.
How can potential bachelors enter the contest and how will the bachelors be chosen?
Bachelors must follow the guidelines in order to enter the contest:
(I.) They have to Submit a notecard named Costa Rica Sims-Hottest Bachelor (Avatar's Full Name)
Include the following information in your notecard:
(1). Avatar name
(2). Rezz Date
(3) Submit two professional photographs (head shot and Full body) full permission,
512x512 or 1024x1024. Note: Costa Rica Sims reserves the rights to all photos submitted
(4) An answer to the following questions:
(1) Why do you think you are one of SL's hottest bachelors?
(2) What is the most important thing you can do in order to make someone happy?
(II.)-Bachelors must be available to attend the events scheduled.
(III.)- It is a requirement than entries are willing to use voice if needed. Trust me when I tell you that I don't want to learn later on that a bachelor was actually a
bachelorette.
To answer the second part of your question, each month we will select from 6 to 10 entries and those chosen will go to compete that month. This will be a tough job an someone has to do it for sure! I am hoping the lovely ladies of Costa Rica Sims will take pleasure in having the opportunity to be the official judges and crown each month’ s winner. So ladies if you are interested please contact me.
For you personally what qualities do you think makes a guy “hot”?
Looks help, but a man with a genuine heart, on that is true to himself and those around them. Just have fun and truly enjoy their second life experience with other without drama.
What can the gentlemen expect once they are deemed as Costa Rica Sims Hottest Bachelor?
Well Sydney, How about the honor of holding the title of Costa Rica Sims SL Hottest Bachelor for one. It is also a great opportunity to be discovered by fashion designers and model agencies. Each month the winner will be featured in an interview on our webpage. Let’s not forget the L$5000 cash prize in addition to some wonderful gifts from our co-sponsors Alphamale, Exposure Photography just to name a few. And who knows maybe that bachelor will be able to find some love as well.

Yes, I am in the process of planning a meet & greet event where everyone will have a chance to mingle with our fabulous bachelors face to face, which I think all attending will enjoy.
