The month of April saw a variety of events and parties that had residents and guests of Costa Rica Sims busy from the 1^st to the 30^th, along with new opportunities to spend time with friends enjoying all that Costa Rica Sims has to offer.

April was kicked off with the traditional Costa Rica Ladies Society Friendship Ball. Attendees arrived in their fashionable formal wear and enjoyed the vocal styling’s of AM Quar. The beauty of the Friendship Ball’s location in the Costa Rica Ladies Society Botanical Garden is only enhanced by the gorgeous gowns and tuxes the guests adorn the location in.

A newer event for Costa Rica Sims fans to enjoy is the Soulful Jazz Night in the new Venus Lounge located within the Commercial District of Costa Rica Sims. This event is a laid back, relaxing way to unwind after a tough day of work or play. The mellow sounds of the Jazz in perfect for dancing with someone special or unwinding at the bar enjoying a glass of wine, or people watching. If you have not attended one of the new Jazz nights add it to your to do list.

The next event in the newly opened Venus Lounge found the animal loving Costa Rica residents and their guests supporting Project FUR Japan in a fun great fun way bidding against each other for some amazing items in the Costa Rica Sims fundraising auction to support the animals injured and displaced due to the disaster in Japan. Later in the month additional monies were raised when vocalist Noma Falta performed a benefit concert for this worthy charity a total of more than $70,000L has been raised for this good cause by Costa Rica residents and friends.

Costa Rica Sims La Cantina Night with DJ Rosa Alekseev Hancroft was a spicy night of salsa and Latin music. It was a hot night to get together with familiar faces and to get to know some new ones. Costa Rican Sims residents and regulars at the events love to welcome and meet new residents and guests and always hope they become one of the regulars too!

Costa Rica Sims land sales department announced in April the acquisition of new Sims that brought the opportunity for purchasing smaller more intimate plots to create the perfect home in. The homestead parcels provide a generous 700 prims and are affordable with at monthly tier of L$6,900. Currently Costa Rica Sims is offering these homes in Isla Caracol and Isla Langosta.

The Labyrinth themed ball had residents pulling out their most elaborate gowns and formalwear to take time to float around the ballroom floor looking every part of the type of guests you would have seen in the film’s ballroom scene.  Antonio Galloway performed and entertained with his vocal renditions of well known standards, afterwards DJ Gavin Xevion took things up a notch with an impromptu after party entertaining the remaining guests with his style of musical offerings.

The Venus Lounge is getting lots of use with the addition of Costa Rica Sims Friday Night Music Mix event. A variety of music and dance, its fun way to spend a Friday evening catching up from the week with friends and the variety of music will have everyone getting the opportunity to hear their favorite style of music.

Costa Rica Sims April Rezz Day Party had the residents moving to the sounds of Motown!  The venue was amazing and a great environment, everyone landed in the front office of the recording studio and made their way downstairs to the party area complete with posters of some of the great Motown artists. Several remarked how they could live in the place and be very happy there and DJ MikeeGemini Ghost could have not been more perfect for creating the fun that the Motown music inspires.

Just like in RL Costa Rica, at Costa Rica Sims, Las Baulas, leatherback turtles are arrived once again to lay their eggs. It was a sight to see as these beautiful creations by our good friend Tunes Meness owner of 2xtreme made their way to the beach, laid their eggs and the newest residents of Costa Rica Sims hatched and made their way to the sea.

The Costa Rica Sims April Influential’s party celebrating Eboni Khan was a fun Reggae themed event that saw the Influential’s lounge decorated with wicker, bamboo and the tropical umbrella drinks were plentiful.  Eboni Khan, the talent behind the House of Hucci brand, was ready to party in her pink crochet swimsuit and everyone joined in honouring such a deserving Influential.

Costa Rica Sims Productions were not to be outdone by the events that took place this month and wowed everyone with an amazing fashion show featuring the designs of Sunami Beck of Emery. The models graced the runway in the latest designs a fun mix of colour and style you can’t go wrong in an ensemble of the Emery brand.  Hostess Samantha Ohrberg highlighted and described the amazing outfits while DJ Lincoln Garnet keep the mood upbeat with his perfectly chosen tracks to accompany the models as they made their way down the loft inspired runway.
