The Costa Rica Sims Production of February’s Designer Showcase featured the beautiful creations of Rebel Hope. Nothing says romance more than Rebel Hope fashion and this show was not a disappointment to all the romantics out there. The show began with the beautiful Samantha Ohrberg hosting the event wearing one of Rebel Hope's newest gowns, Grace in gold. The sensual, daring gown was made of sensuous satin, and designed to caress and flatter the feminine form encased within. The thigh high slit on the front of the gown revealed a delicious expanse of shapely leg. The bodice of the gown had a delicate, contrasting black lace overlay, highlighted by sequins. The opera length gloves added that perfect touch of glamour to the sexy gown.
The first gown to grace the runway was presented by the lovely CRSP Model Rusalka Callisto. Rusalka wore the aptly named Passion gown in red. Passion was a beautifully designed gown featuring sculpted ruffles framing the décolletage, a curve skimming A-line skirt with matching opera length gloves. The beautiful details such as the diamond brooch on the bodice of the dress, jeweled clasps on the gloves, and the diamonds accenting the ribbon securing the top in the back added a touch of elegance. Passionate is but one word to describe the woman that would wear that exquisite gown.
CRSP Model Baila Palmira took to the runway wearing Jacqueline. The amazing gown featured a curve hugging silhouette tapering down into a gently flaring tulle skirt. Echoing the skirt was an attention grabbing tulle shoulder accent. The bodice was beautifully accented with delicate silver embroidery. Baila added perfect finishing touch with Rebel Hope Engel’s Elizabeth diamond tiara with matching earrings. She was truly channeling her inner princess.
Following the Jacquline gown was CRSP Model Ellekirsten Gossipgirl on the runway wearing Grace. Ellekirsten surely set hearts racing in the gorgeous fuchsia gown that was the same design as Ms. Ohrberg was wearing only in a beautiful pink tone that flattered Ellekirsten’s shape and took the audiences breath away.
CRSP Top Model Brendan Macarthur and CRSP Model Rusalka Callisto then took to the runway in the Branson Tuxedo in Slate and the Carla Bridesmaids gown in Amethyst. Brendan and Rusalka were impeccably dressed and ready to herald the arrival of the bride as they preceded her down the aisle. Brendan was beautifully attired in the modern, single breasted, worsted wool tuxedo with tails. Chic and pleasing to the eye, the Branson tuxedo, available in slate or black was the perfect choice. Accompanying the dapper gentleman was the beautiful Rusalka, who was a vision in the Carla gown. The Carla was a well designed, stylish gown in an eye-catching jewel toned color. The attention to detail was evident in the jewel accents along the décolletage. The flowing skirt of the gown moved beautifully, and one could almost picture Rusalka gliding across the dance floor in it. Rusalka carried the Madeline Bridesmaids flowers, also from Rebel Hope.
When CRSP Model Baila Palmira returned to the runway with CRSP Top Model LesPaul Ibanez who wore the Rebel Hope Signature Tuxedo in black it was breathtaking as he escorted Baila who wore the Madeline bridal gown. LesPaul and Baila were the epitome of the beautiful couple in love as they strolled down the aisle for the first time as husband and wife. LesPaul exuded masculinity and sex appeal in the three-button, single breasted tuxedo with satin vest, matching bow-tie, prim pocket square and flexi-prim tails. LesPaul accessorized with a pocket watch with vest chain and Madeline Groom flowers in deep purple and pink. Baila was chic and classy in the Madeline bridal gown. This lovely gown was the epitome of femininity. It embodied glamour with its shimmery, shiny, soft chiffon fabric. The plunging neckline accentuated the décolletage, while the softly flowing skirt swirls and floats with your every movement. Baila wore Rebel Hope Engel’s Passion Jewelry in platinum and carryed the Madeline Bridal Flowers in deep purple and pink.
Back to the runway was CRSP Model Ellekirsten Gossipgirl. Ellekirsten was wearing the Ginger gown in red. This gorgeous gown was perfect for the woman that is confident in her sensuality. Ginger was a sexy, form-fitting gown with a full tulle skirt. The bodice was adorned with jeweled accents front and back. The décolletage was accented with contrasting white fabric. A lovely gown that would be welcomed in most any woman’s closet.
Another bride then graced the runway CRSP Model Rusalka Callisto. Rusalka wore the Ginger bridal gown. Breathtaking, alluring, and sensual are just a few of the adjectives that come to mind when having viewed the amazing gown. The marriage of satin and tulle truly sets the gown apart. The ruched, jewel adorned bodice accentuates Rusalka’s slender waist and look was remarkable. The look was completed with Rebel Hope Engel’s Ginger Jewelry in platinum and the Calla Lily bridal bouquet in white. The finale showcased CRSP Top Model Brendan Macarthur and CRSP Model Baila Palmira. Brendan and Baila made a gorgeous couple and it was easy to picture them embarking on a life of wedded bliss. Brendan cut a dashing figure in a three-button, single breasted tuxedo with red satin vest, matching bow-tie, prim pocket square and flexi-prim tails. A pocket watch with vest chain added the perfect finishing touch to the striking outfit. Baila was all style and elegance in the Harlequin bridal gown. The form fitting, drop waist silhouette flowed softly into a tulle skirt, showing off Baila’s curves to perfection. The plunging neckline beautifully accented her cleavage, while the flowers adorning the hip and lower back added a special touch. Baila wore Rebel Hope Engel’s Harlequin Jewelry in platinum and carried the Madeline Bridal Flowers bouquet.
It was a beautiful and romantic showcase and made me want to go out and purchase a bridal gown just to wear around the skybox ala` the bridal gown episode of Friends when Monica, Rachel and Phoebe all don gowns to just feel good. I would have to say anyone that goes to purchase a Rebel Hope gown will feel wonderful wearing it!
