The January Influential’s went all out Lady Gaga to celebrate and honor six of the Miss Virtual World contestants that reside in Costa Rica Sims. The lovely ladies: Jennaa Loire, Rhonda Pennell, Veronica Krasner, Roe Woodford, Reign Congrejo and Louise McWinne-Roundel.  These women were not only MVW contestants but are each accomplished models and businesswomen in their own right. Their resumes are bursting with experience throughout the Second Life modeling and fashion industry.

I arrived early to check out the Influential’s Lounge which was done up in pink with Lady Gaga photos scattered about. The giant CD on the floor drew your attention to the dance area and DJ MikeeGemini Ghost was about to get everyone in the mood to dance til they dropped.

It was a full house for sure and four of our lovely honorees were able to join us for the celebration, all doing their version of Lady Gaga with style. Residents and guests alike got in the spirit of things and everyone was Gaga-licous.  Lots of Gaga “bow” hair, sunglasses and unique fashions.

DJ Mikee kept everyone entertained and of course since we love him so much we couldn’t let the evening pass without showing him how much he means to us by good naturedly harassing him just a little. I am sure he will pay us back another time with one of his colorful stories featuring the Costa Rica Executive team and residents. Mikee’s lovely hostess Suga Hunniton welcomed everyone and made all feel at home shouting out hellos and thanking everyone for attending.

Residents and guests tarried until Mikee was apologizing for having to leave us since he always stays to the very last minute entertaining us and many stayed past just to keep the party going as long as possible. Lady Gaga would have been proud of how the theme was embraced and enjoyed by all attending.
