What attracted you to Costa Rica Sims?

I’ve visited Costa Rica Sims several times (to go to some events, or to visit some friends living there) before I decided to move and I loved the luxury, refinement and wild nature surrounding every sim landscape and environment, but it was only when one of my SL sisters wanted so bad to live in Costa Rica that I finally move together with her and another sister into Playa Dominicalito sim… now I think it was the best thing I could have done last year and I am enjoying every single moment in there :)

What would you say is your favorite thing about your Costa Rica Sims home?

I very much love the waves and the turquoise sea waters surrounding my home, the exuberant tropical palms and landscape, I love the choice to get to see a sunset or a sunrise from different rooms in my house, and so far people I’ve met (mostly neighbors) were very polite welcoming my sisters and myself when we moved in but they respect our privacy, which is priceless, so far it has been a very enjoyable way of living during my non working SL hours :)

What was the MVW experience like for you?

It was one of the best experiences I had the chance to live during my SL life, it really made me grow as a person and as a model.

The MVW Pageant was a school for me , in where I’ve learned from the other contestants, by sharing moments with them, socializing and building bonds, and it helped me to expand my horizons regarding to styling and creativity in each and every challenge we had during the pageant, until the last final day.

I am thankful to the MVW Organization and to everyone that helped us the contestants during the process that started with the live audition (back in May in my case) and ended with that fantastic televised show last december :)

Can you share the best advice or helpful hint you discovered while participating in MVW?

Mmm… I could say: be creative, daring, be unique and know how to stand out from the crowd but also remain humble and demonstrate you’re a caring person… Miss Virtual World is not 100% about modeling and styling, it is also about having good inner feelings and the willing to work towards the ones who are in need and help them giving the best of you in it :)

You do a lot of print modeling and runway, which do you prefer?

I love both tasks, I could say I am way more used to runway, since I did those from my earliest first steps in the industry, I love the thrill to style and accessorize every outfit for a show, the adrenaline when it’s almost time to start the show and go on the runway, but I also had the chance to do print work, as in magazine articles and vendors and I’ve enjoyed it very much

Is there anything you have come across in SL that you would say EVERYONE should see or experience?

I guess the thing I most love about SL is the chance to have met people that otherwise I should had never met, being many of them from totally different parts of the world… so I would say that was my best experience in SL, to be able to call them my friends or even more my family, each one of them are so dear to me that make me want to log in every day to see them and talk to them.

Besides that, I think I could recommend people to go to a lovely beach as the ones that are in any of the Costa Rica Sims and watch quietly for a sunset or a sunrise, and also to explore the beauty of many places in Second Life and admire the creativity and originality that their residents has to offer to the whole community.

Worst pick up line anyone has used on you in SL?

Mmmm… I should say that the worst of them all is the classic “HI” following by a massive stalking and following wherever I move or walk…. I am attracted to intelligent and smart men, so they should have much more to do if they want to get my attention LOL! :)

Most romantic thing you have done in SL?

I think I should pic my engagement and wedding to my SL husband… those two were the most romantic moments I’ve experienced in my SL, and  I strongly feel that a part of my RL self engaged and married to him as well :)

Given the chance what would you tell the newest CEO of Linden Labs about SL?

Hmmm… Well… first I would scream at him asking for the 15 extra group slots that they’ve been promising for the end of the year and we’re still waiting anxiously LOL! (I bet I am not the only one feeling this way!).

And second I would ask him for more stability in the game during peak hours and weekends, and more related to the modeling field, I would ask him in some way to promote SL and its huge fashion industry, in hoping of some more RL designers to join and make a virtual business of their RL brands, I know there are several ones establishing from RL and I love that, but I would surely like to see more of it :)

I hope you have enjoyed getting to know Veronica as much as I did! Look for more interviews this week!  Syd <3
