The final Costa Rica Sims Productions fashion show of 2010 was an impressive event with stunning fashion and just as stunning models. Eight talented designers, who have helped to change the Fashion Industry within Second Life, were showcased: Alphamale, Blacklace, House of Hucci, Bliss Couture, VoguE, Orage Creations, Vitamen and DNR - Designing Nicky Ree.
The audience was treated to a variety of fashions: Lingerie, Casual, Formal and Haute Couture modeled by Costa Rica Sims Productions models: Brendan Macarthur, LesPaul Ibanez, Tosha Bergan, Veronica Krasner, Skylei Caproni and Payton Heron.
Highlights included sexy lingerie that had every man in the room turning their head and focusing on the runway. The ladies weren’t left out as the male models left them speechless in swimwear that would be a welcome sight on any beach.
Casual wear ranged from the sexy to the sophisticated and the items shown would be welcome additions to many SL closets. Many of the ensembles could easily be mixed and matched into an existing SL wardrobe and create many new looks for the owner. There was such a wide variety of looks and styles you should check out the Costa Rica Sims Flickr page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/costaricasims/ for shopping incentive and inspiration.
The men cut the dashing figure in formal wear while the ladies gowns were a colorful and varied in style, gowns echoed styles from the Far East to an homage to the beautiful peacock. The dresses were breathtaking and the models presented them with style and grace from head to toe. I for one will be considering adding a number of the gowns to my closet.
After what was one of CRSP finest shows everyone retired to the Influential’s lounge to enjoy DJ Dubwise Macbain spinning the tunes and dancing. The chat upbeat and the models rocking some of their last outfits allowed us to get a closer look of the quality and detail that comes with these amazing designers creations. It was truly an event to remember and a great way for me to create a major shopping list! The SL economy is safe I believe after this show with many of us rushing to purchase the lovely outfits we saw presented.
Until next time wishing you a great SL day! Syd
