Costa Rica Sims Resident Holiday Photoshoot

This past weekend the Costa Rica Sims was a fun filled whirl of activities and events! The weekend was kicked off on Friday with Sam and yours truly coordinating some time and setting up a Christmas picture taking of residents wearing their holiday finest. Everyone was invited to come to the plaza jump on a pose ball and play photo victim for my camera. It was a great time and even Santa showed, although I am not sure it was the real Santa but his naughty alter ego, either way he created a lot of laughs. Southern Riptide dropped him for us out of her inventory, based on this Santa I would pay money to get a peek at Southern’s closet!  Skylei Caproni seemed to enjoy Santa a lot, he must have been giving good gifts because she kept going back to sit on his lap.

Costa Rica Sims Executive Team’s 3^rdAnnual Winter Ball

Later on Friday the Costa Rica Sims Executive Team’s 3^rdAnnual Winter Ball was held at The Opera House.  The venue was decked out in festive holiday decor and everyone was looking stylish and festive. The ladies were beautiful  in their gowns and the men dashing in their formal wear.

The Costa Rica Executive Team lined the front steps of the Opera House greeting residents and guests as they arrived while Dexter Ihnen kept everyone entertained with his vocals that ranged from the slow and smooth to the upbeat.   

For a few moments I had some rezzing issues and getting photos was proving difficult but Pheonix Reyer and Skylei Caproni pitched in to help and once I had the technical issues taken care of I was able to photograph the lovely attendees. Willy Oakleaf played personal DJ until I had my sound issues fixed. A big thank you to them for the assist!  This is one of the things that make living in Costa Rica Sims so special, residents are friendly and helpful looking out for one another and why these events are such a great way to celebrate this wonderful place and residents of Costa Rica Sims. The Executive Team wishes all the Costa Rica residents and friends a special holiday season filled fun, friends, family and cheer.

  Miss Virtual World 2011 Viewed at Costa Rica Sims

Saturday a lot of the grid came to a standstill as the Miss Virtual World 2011 Pageant was aired on Metaverse TV. Many places hosted viewings as did our own Costa Rica Sims. Residents and guests gathered at the Opera House to enjoy the pageant on a big screen and cheer for our beautiful Costa Rica Sims residents who were participants.  We want to congratulate each one of these lovely ladies on a job well done, we are very proud of you: Louise McWinne-Roundel:  1st runner up in Miss Virtual World 2011, a special congratulation to Jennaa Loire, Reign Congrejo, Roe Woodford and Veronica Krasner for their elegance and grace in Miss Virtual World 2011 Pageant. You’re all winners’ ladies.
