Costa Rica's Prim Professor and Ellison Designs owner, Clay Ellison will be heading up building classes once again for Costa Rica residents to hone their skills. The classes will start November 2nd, a Tuesday and will be taught every Tuesday for 6 weeks at 12 noon SLT. Each class will be about 1 hour or so. If you had been wanting to build and learn with a more personal approach now is the time.

The class is going to be limited to 12 people so sign up now. All you have to do is send Clay Ellison a notecard in world with your name to let him know you will be attending. Please indicate if you have use of voice (even just to listen) although its not a requirement it would make the class easier for everyone.

Here is the course curriculum:

Week One: We will be covering building terms, shapes and flexible prims, linking and unlinking, the building windows and tabs. We will get an idea of what of what is possible in building in SL.

Week Two: More about the building tabs. Learning the camera tricks. Reshaping the prims. Understanding linking and unlinking with parent and child prims. We will begin building basic items. Table and chair. Texturing.

Week Three: Modify rights, co-building, group land, asset permissions and group deeding. Attachments and making attachments.

Week Four: Landscaping, going over the color, transparency, and alpha textures. Uploading and Texture upload window. Programs you can use for creating textures.

Week Five: We will cover basic scripting and adding them to your builds, including sit poses. We will go over basic sculpties and what programs are available to use to create awesome shapes for your creations.

Week Six: Wrap it all up. Possibly have a show and tell. Q & A time here as well. 

Clay will do his best to answer all the questions during each class and hope everyone can benefit for the questions asked so that it can be an enjoyable time for all involved. Building in SL is an amazing thing! Seeing your imagination come to life for all to enjoy and admire. There will be lots of other info during each class.
