The Criss Museum of Contemporary Art is playing host this month to a wonderfully life-like virtual rendition of "Gulliver's Travels" by Artist/Builder Ub Yifu. The satirical story written by Jonathan Swift recounts the journeys of Lemuel Gulliver at sea, the most memorable and recognizable being the capture of Gulliver by the diminutive Lilliputians.
The exhibit is located in the back of the museum and adorned with pose balls in various positions so you can join the Lilliputians in capturing our poor Gulliver. Samantha, our Events Manager, and a few Costa Rica residents and friends went by yesterday for some pictures while sitting atop Costa Rica's newest giant. Near the back entrance you will find a giant copy of "Gulliver's Travels" that will dispense free note cards of the book for you to read at your leisure.
The Museum holds tours by free appointment to explore all the goodies inside and regularly has poetry readings and open mic sessions. Much to do! Who says there's no culture in Second Life®. Visit the Criss today! http://slurl.com/secondlife/Alajuela/192/72/23
