Unless you've been living under a rock, or in case you have, you would have heard the news about our new Miss Costa Rica Sims 2011, Reign Congrejo! We managed to get some thoughts from her about the pageant, dealing with lagalicious crashing and her feelings about Costa Rica Sims estate.
CR: Now that the pageant is over and you've won, how are you feeling?
RC: Wow Keshi, I am still in shock. It really came as a surprise. I am truly blessed and honored to represent Costa Rica Sims. I have been greeted by some of the friendliest people. They make it a point of getting to know you and a simple hello turns into a interesting conversation. I have to say that I am meeting some fantastic people here on Costa Rica and will do my best to make sure that they know at any time they can talk to me. I may need a triple espresso from time to time but I will still be here.
CR: What would you say you've learned from the entire Miss Costa Rica Sims Pageant experience?
RC: Well I have learned patience. I have never felt lag and crashed so much in my SL life and clothing not going on correctly. I made it through by taking a deep breath and telling myself everything is going to be just fine. I always remember that whatever situation I am in, believe me there is someone else in bigger situation than I, so I keep my focus on others and everything seems to work its way out.
CR: That is a very positive outlook! Are you ready for Miss Virtual World?
RC: Ready? Well to tell you the truth it's about the mind for me. Mentally I am getting there. There are so many beautiful and talented avatars in Miss Virtual World that it could lead one into thinking that they could never win. I know that I represent the best being Miss Costa Rica Sims and will do everything I can to stay grounded yet assertive through this competition. There are so many components to Miss Virtual World and I will strive to meet every one of them as I possibly can.
CR: Tell us how you discovered Costa Rica Sims?
RC: Well I have friends that live on Costa Rica and have really made an impression. I first moved to Costa Rica with Roe Woodford, I really started exploring and found some great and interesting things to do with my last stop at the shopping district where I have to admit I spent too much money. I then started doing research about Costa Rica itself and found some amazing information and I said to myself why would I not be a resident here, with all the love and with so many beautiful things to do. I now have my own little vacation villa and frequently have friends over and we go exploring as I want them to feel this wonderful warm and welcoming feeling of really being home.
CR: What would you say set Costa Rica Sims apart from all other private estates in Second Life?
RC: What really makes Costa Rica are the people. They are friendly and welcoming and willing to help at any time which is a attribute I have yet to find anywhere else. Along side from that OMG look at the wonderful land, the rain forest, volcano, places to picnic, romantic retreats. Really what more could a person want or ever need. You have all the amenities in one area that you never ever have to leave.
CR: And how do you feel about Costa Rica Sims?
RC: You ask how I feel about Costa Rica Sims, well it sets a standard that most will find hard to follow. There are no other estates such as this and that being said Costa Rica is number one. I feel that because of what I have been afforded with Costa Rica and representing such a lovely place with many lovely people, I have made a commitment to helping Costa Rica become known to many other foreign lands as well as helping to raise awareness on many issues that Costa Rica has found to be important (eg. Breast Cancer being one). My journey has just begun and this year will be challenging yet very rewarding. Please make sure to keep the coffee brewing as I am sure there will be many late nights of brainstorming and just having fun in this beautiful land.
Stay tuned for the rundown on the pageant and the winners of Costa Rica Sims 3rd Anniversary winners!
