Costa Rica Sims 3rd Anniversary Schedule Of Events

Hello Fellow Residents and Friends,
 
In the past few weeks, the entire Costa Rica Sims Executive Team has been working hard to develop a fantastic array of exciting contests and events to celebrate our 3rd year Anniversary. This 3 day extravaganza would not have been possible without the help of so many designers, builders, and friends of the estate. But most of all, we would not be in a position to celebrate at all this milestone without you, our beloved residents. This promises to be the most exciting Anniversary celebration so far, with many live performers and DJs in store to get the party started right. Below you will find the events in chronological order, so if you have questions, please address them to the appropriate contact person for each respective event. We look forward to seeing all of you attending the events and entering the various contests!
 
 
 
Event: A Lady’s Dream Contest
Location: Starting Point Laguna Arenal
Date: Entries accepted from Tuesday, September 7, 2010 through Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 12 noon SLT. Winner will be announced at the 3rd Anniversary Celebration Ball & Awards Show on Sunday, September 19, 2010.

Prize(s): Over L$20,000 in Cash and Apparel
How to Enter: Ladies entering the contest must submit a notecard to Nina Constantine entitled "A Lady's Dream Contest: Avatar Name." This contest is for Costa Rica Sims female residents only. In the notecard, entrants will have to write the names of every single female designer in our commercial regions. The first lady to correctly list the names of all the female designers wins. Winner will be announced at the 3rd Anniversary Celebration Ball & Awards Show on Sunday, September 19, 2010.
 
Concept: This event is brought to you by the Costa Rica Sims Ladies’ Society. As you may know, over 65% of the estate’s residents are female. This will bring one lucky lady a spectacular new wardrobe selection from the fabulous female designers in our shopping districts. Those ladies wishing to participate will be required to travel around our 4 commercial regions: Laguna Arenal, La Fortuna 1, Heart of Glass, and San Jose City.
 
 
Event: CRSP Top Models of The Year Fashion Show
Location: Alajuela
Date: Friday, September 17, 2010
Time: 3pm SLT
Sponsor(s): CRSP Productions

Prize(s): L$10,000 for top male & female CRSP models
How to Enter: Models in the CRSP group will send a notecard to Tempest Hennesy AND TraLove Pinazzo entitled “CRSP Top Models of the Year: Avatar Name” that will include their vote for this year’s top male and female model of CRSP. This contest opportunity is open to CRSP models only.  No exceptions. Entries accepted until Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 12 noon SLT. Winner will be announced at the 3rd Anniversary Celebration Ball & Awards Show on Sunday, September 19, 2010.
 
Concept: CSRP models will choose from their peers the top male and female models of The Costa Rica Sims Productions. Top 3 male and top 3 female models will walk the catwalk designed by CRSP, showcasing outfits from designers in our shopping district.
 
 
Event: Costa Rica Sims Bunneh Hunt
Location: Alajuela
Date: Saturday, September 18, 2010
Time: 12 noon SLT

Prize(s): L$10,000 from Costa Rica Sims & Rare Bunny
How to Enter: Show up at the designated event time and location for clues and rules.
 
Concept: Participants will be given clues at our Bunny Farm on the day of the event and travel around the estate, exploring our pristine seas, lush jungles, and wild landscape, as they hunt for treasure and collect clues along the way. The first person to complete the hunt will win the cash prize and rare bunny that will be presented at the Bunneh Hunt After Party: "A Tiny Affair."
 
 
Event: Bunneh Hunt After Party: "A Tiny Affair"
Location: Guanacaste
Date: Saturday, September 18, 2010
Time: 2pm SLT

Prize(s): L$5,000 for best female & male tiny
How to Enter: Attend the party and look adorable to garner the most votes.
 
Concept: This is a contest party, much loved by residents and guests in prior years, where party guests dress as tiny avatars, for a chance to each win a L$5,000 cash prize for best male & female tiny. Winner will be determined by guests voting on the tiny avatars of their fellow guests. Guests can vote for themselves and one vote per guest only. Winner will be announced at conclusion of party.
 
 
Event: Most Beautiful Parcel
Location: Various Parcels Around Our Estate
Time: Entries accepted from Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 12 noon SLT through Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 12 noon SLT. Winner will be announced at the 3rd Anniversary Celebration Ball & Awards Show on September 19, 2010.

How to Enter: Submit a notecard to Samantha Ohrberg entitled "Most Beautiful Parcel: Avatar's Name." The notecard should include a landmark of your parcel. Entries are accepted between Sunday, August 22, 2010 at 12 noon SLT through Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 12 noon SLT.
 
Concept: Everyone knows that the Costa Rica Sims is the most beautiful private estate in all Second Life. This accomplishment has been made by the love, time, and dedication residents devote to their properties. So just like last year, this year we will reward the resident with the most beautiful parcel a L$10,000 cash prize plus a home by renowned builder Barnesworth Anubis. Winner will be chosen by Barnesworth Anubis and last year's winner, WK Ganesvoort. Residents entering this contest must remember to turn off any security devices or add WK Ganesvoort and Barnesworth Anubis to the devices’ entry list.
