Costa Rica Estate held its first formal Community Ball at WK Ganesvoort House with the beautiful and talented songstress Ceci Dover weaving melodious magic through the evening. Couples were dressed in their finest as everyone danced the night away while making new friends and maybe even more. I didn't look so you're safe.

While some of the guests remained to listen to the tempting tunes of Ms Dover, some journeyed to the Ganesvoort House for a tour of the grounds. It is quite a stunning work of art and should be seen if you have time.

Luckily the Community Ball is a monthly affair so many opportunities await to enjoy the company of your fellow Costa Rica residents or even find that new love of your life. Judging by the closeness of fellow residents Apollo Call and Sora Tatham, the mood is definitely one of enchantment.

Many familiar faces came out to join in the festivities like Solitaire Bamaisin and Chase Roddenham, Miss Virtual World 2010 Miaa Rebane, who graciously agreed to be my dance partner for the evening, Mr. Costa Rica Sims 2009 Bjorn Delphin and Mr. Costa Rica Sims finalist Trevor Spore, looking very handsome in his white tux and top hat as well as the female Face of Moolto Mina Pellazi.

While some of guests joined the ball by way of being fans of Ms Dover, they got into the spirit of Costa Rica and the Spanish language flowed like wine. Which is why I cannot translate any of that for you :D

As the sun set, some retired but a few stayed behind enjoying the smooth jazz and each others company. I think this is a wonderful event for Costa Rica estates to have monthly and if you missed this one, do try to come to the next month. It is every second Saturday of the month at 2pm slt. And don't be shy if you don't have a date. There were so many eligible and beautiful ladies and men. I'd say dust off that tux or buy a new one at Costa Rica shopping plaza and roll the die!
