When Ceci Dover's friend Andaluza decuir brought her to Second Life™, she was already a singer. She's been a singer pretty much all her life. While her friends were playing with dolls, Ceci was learning about music.

"I've been singing since I was a child. I was 4 years old. But I started studying at six. I'm thirty-three years old now."

Originally from Argentina with an Italian grandfather, Ceci De Bruno (aka Brown) as she's known in real life, has packed alot of experience under her belt. She was even in a real life show called 'Operación Triunfo'. It's a reality-show talent contest which first aired on Spain's TVE network in 2001. You could say it's a mix of Star Search and Pop Idol with a bit of Big Brother thrown in, with the goal being the same which is to find the country's next solo singing sensation.

"I never never never won. haha! Nobody took me for the program or gave me that oportunity. It's hard but this is the real life."

Listening to her tracks, I find it hard to believe. And later when I visit her at Jade's Jazz lounge, the audience reaction is proof of her range. As well as Jade's, she also sings at Frank's and Bogarts.

"I started singing in important clubs and growing up so fast. I have two or three concerts per day. I want to thank all the owners for that."

Ceci sings a broad range of music, from pop to jazz. She has a special love for R&B. "My queen is Aretha Franklin and I love that song 'Off Key' by Ella Fitzgerald. I'd like to go to USA one day. I know they are constantly pomoting new artists."

Costa Rica residents will have their chance to hear Ceci's enchanting vocals first hand when she sings at the upcoming Costa Rica Ladies Society 'Friendship Ball' on May 8th, The 'Community Ball' hosted by WK Ganesvoort on May 15th, which will continue on a permanent basis with these events being repeated each month starting in June.

"Mr Giancarlo was listening to my concert you know. LOL! And then he called me soon after."
