Thank you all for coming out in incredibly creative costumes. There was a diverse group of people including Thumper’s fans, Azu’s fans, residents, friends, and anyone who happened upon the advertisement on the SL Events board. I hope you can see and get an idea from the pics what a great party it was. Speaking of pictures, I have so many thanks to Denise Rowlands, Ganesh Westland, and myself; but, I had to pick and choose for the article.

I have to give my best friend, Ganesh Westland, the credit for recommending live entertainer, Thumper Boucher (Darrell Phillips in RL) for the event. Thumper often plays at the very popular Rezzable’s Greenies parties where Ganesh was manager for a while. This was Thumper’s debut on Costa Rica and he was professional, dressed in incredible hero costumes, and made us laugh and dance with his own funky reggae rock style tunes as well as other popular artists' dance music. Thumper sang while playing guitar and keyboards for the first hour of the show. He brought his own pyrotechnical “particles” and put on quite a show for the guests. He even stuck around for a while, entered the contest, danced to Azu’s set for a while before leaving with nothing but complimentary things to say about the day and the CR Estate. I would not be surprised to see him perform here again in the near future. Plus, I slipped him the notecard with all our highlighted LMs on it.

Costa Rica’s #1 DJ, Azu Catteneo, took over the stream for the next 2 hours and kept the crowd excited and the sim packed with his fresh and incredible techno/trance music and continuing the costume contest. Originally, the contest was sponsored by the hosts at 750L a piece for best male and best female. With the generousity of the executive team of the hosting Costa Rica Sims and resident, Azalea Montale the prize money was increased to 3000L each. There was a tie for best male between Brian Lindman and Jac Mornington. Best female was won by Roxxyy Honi. See them in their threads below.

I didn’t catch wind of any “dirt” that day either because I was so busy behind the scenes or maybe everyone was just having such a great time there was no drama revealed! I do remember seeing a “female ring” of CR Executive, DzinWiz Babii talking sweetly and lovingly to her partner, Peter Nevzerov but I never really got the low down on that piece of jewelry and what it all meant!
